Mission

More and more organizations recognize the importance of having vital and sustainably employable employees. Yet, maintaining health in the workplace often proves to be a challenge. Prolonged sitting, high work pressure and constant digital stimuli lead to overloading of the body. The result? Physical complaints, reduced energy and declining concentration.

In the Netherlands, 1 in 6 employees reports sick each year due to musculoskeletal complaints. The costs of absenteeism are substantial: a single sick day costs on average €300 to €400.In cases of long-term absence, costs per employee can run into the thousands of euros.

In addition, 75% of employees report having worked while not feeling well. This so-called presenteeism results in an average loss of 10 to 44 productive days per employee per year - equal to an estimated cost of €4,000 to €8,000, depending on role and sector.

Around 70% of employees regularly experience physical complaints such as back, neck, shoulder, or head pain. These issues often develop gradually, caused by a combination of prolonged sitting, poor posture, stress and lack of movement.

What may at first seem like a minor discomfort is often a signal of a body out of balance. And that imbalance affects both employees and the organization as a whole.
